HypnoBucket

& other Hallucination Machines

HypnoBucket is inspired by an art piece I saw at Art Hack Day at PNCA.

HypnoCorner

After seeing it and talking to the artist I knew I had to make my own. So I quickly modded my controllable Room LED setup to allow for precise frequency control and bundled the lights into a corner to get the needed intensity. Thus The Hallucination Corner was born. While being fun to use it was fairly clumsy.

Boxy version

Next Iteration involved me fitting it into a box to make it easier for people to use. This way they can put it on there face while laying down, hold it with their hands or place it on a high table and fit their face into it.

The Bucket

The Bucket variant came from the constraints of wanting to make another Maschine but not having any box around. ^H provided some supplies like the neopixel strips the bucket. This helped me get it a working version up and running in a few hours. Using neopixels is a big plus because they can be powered of 5v instead of the 12v I had to power the box version.
