Hi I'm Daniel I'm into new media and interactions. I’m an artist (maybe). I explore technology, new communication mediums, and software tools. In what ways can they be used for fun, work, or self improvement? What makes an instrument a loved tool, and what makes it a toy? I study and create with embedded electronics, drawings, doodles, games, ideas, audible and visual medias. Nothing is off limits, everything should be questioned, pushed to its extremes, mixed with others, and allowed to evolve into a better thing. Just like self improvement our instruments beg to be used, loved, and ultimately improved by the users.
Im fascinated by peoples interactions with modern computing. Almost everything these days is becoming a computing device. Well designed interactions with computers intensify our creativity and empower all people to do anything. Thus via my projects I am developing ideas on how computing and electronics can be used to expand people's capabilities . Although technology can be used in negative ways and be harmful to people, I am a techno-optimist. I want to show and share neat tools, toys, and principals that will broaden peoples views and relationships with technology.
